Video walls

A video wall is a solution for those who want to see a large-format and extremely high-resolution image.

They are used for advertising, the presentation of information in public spaces, data and video monitoring and video presentation at events, as well as at TV studios.

A video wall consists of a series of special interconnected monitors. They differ from conventional monitors in the width of their bezels and the fact that they can be calibrated or run automatically, which helps to ensure uniform colour gamut and brightness and other important display features.

The monitors can be installed either vertically or horizontally, thus creating unique video wall shapes. However, when selecting a non-standard solution, each of the monitors may also need special content players to help process the image and fit it to the selected video wall format.

When it comes to video walls, the width of each monitor’s bezels also plays a big role, as this affects the visibility of the screen connections – the smaller it is, the less it interferes with the correct rendering of the content.

When choosing a video wall, it is very important to select the right monitor size, since this affects the overall size of the video wall, when you need to conform to specific measurements. The diagonal of the screens can be anywhere from 43 to 55 inches and can be tiled together however the customer wants – 1×2, 2×2, etc.

These monitors can operate up to 24 hours per day, and the brightness of each one can be up to 700 nits, depending on the lighting of the room and the purpose of use. These monitors also feature bezel compensation, which helps maintain a seamless image even in areas where the bezel obscures the content.
