Interactive displays
An interactive display is a monitor that has an integrated interactivity function. This means that users have a touch screen that allows them to display content and interact with it directly using a finger or stylus.
They can also use digital ink to mark key points on the interactive display, writing in different font weight, changing colours and easily erasing notes. These displays are usually used in places such as schools, offices, meeting rooms, museums and shopping centres.
Nowadays, almost all interactive displays are available in 4K resolution, which ensures that information is conveyed accurately and in detail. These displays can also have integrated computers that provide even more useful features, such as the ability to use specialised programmes or easily reproduce content without using your own PC.
This is a particularly convenient solution when it comes to video conferencing. In addition to the computer equipment already mentioned, the displays can also have integrated video conferencing equipment, i.e. a video camera, microphones and speakers, which allow everyone participating in the conversation to view the information presented on the screen in real time. Some displays also have a built-in video output interface, which is necessary when you want to share the image on the interactive display on a duplicate display or an even larger projection.
The image can always be transmitted wirelessly to the interactive display, regardless of which operating system you use – Windows, iOS or Android.
It is important to mention that these displays can be wall-mounted or placed on a mobile stand. Depending on the needs of the meeting or the information being presented, some models can even be flipped, i.e. used both vertically and horizontally.
After the meeting, all of the information written or marked on the board can be forwarded by e-mail to one or a group of people with a few clicks of the buttons. The information can also be saved for another day or locked with a PIN code, guaranteeing absolute confidentiality.
Interactive screens are available in different sizes, with diagonals ranging from 43 to 98 inches.
